Earlier this summer on a trip to San Juan island in Washington, I enjoyed one of the best beverages of my life thanks to a food truck called Roadriggers: watermelon lemonade. Back on the east coast, we attempted to recreate this magic for the 4th of July. It was really good! Not as good as the original, but really good.
It's pretty straightforward to make: juice a watermelon, add lemonade. The only tip to recommend is, rather than dumping all your watermelon juice in or your lemonade, do some tests to see what ratio of flavors works best. We just used Santa Cruz organic lemonade and it turned out great, but making your own would probably be even better.
